Overview Under general supervision, responsible for custodial work of average difficulty in common areas and guest rooms. This classification is responsible for the appearance and a high standard of cleanliness of the guest rooms, public areas, meeting space, linen closets, and exterior of the Lodge. Guest Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, and thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.

Performs general cleaning of rooms or projects as assigned.

Responsibilities Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of lodge guest rooms and cabin facilities by efficiently making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, and organizing work areas. Performs periodic deep-cleaning tasks, including shampooing carpets and cleaning walls, windows, and other surfaces. Communicates the status of cleaned and guest-ready rooms to Front Desk personnel to ensure accurate room inventory, facilitate timely guest assignments, and support early check-in opportunities when available.

Performs in-house laundry duties as needed to maintain an adequate supply of clean rags, terry products, and other housekeeping materials required for daily operations. Ensures proper inventory control, organization, and maintenance of housekeeping supplies by stocking and maintaining supply carts, closets, and storage areas in accordance with operational standards.
