Front Desk Agent

About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded hotel in East London , is seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Agent to join their guest services team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome, managing check-ins and check-outs, and assisting guests with their needs throughout their stay. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience in this coastal city.

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process efficiently.
• Process check-outs, handle billing inquiries, and collect payments accurately.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Assist with reservations and room block management as needed.

• Previous experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and ability to learn hotel software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A friendly, positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
• Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
