About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to manage the housekeeping operations for their property in East London . This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. You will lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, conduct inspections, manage inventory, and ensure efficient execution of daily cleaning duties.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and committed to excellence in hospitality services within the Eastern Cape.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient task completion.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies inventory, ordering, and stock control.
• Train new housekeeping staff on hotel standards, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of linens, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good leadership and communication abilities to manage a team effectively.
