Position SummaryThe Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and maintaining employee training and development programs across multiple divisions of the organization.
This role partners with leaders to identify training needs, create and deliver learning solutions, administer training assignments, track completion and compliance requirements, and evaluate training effectiveness.
The Training Specialist also assists with the administration and maintenance of the organization's Performance Management system, including goal setting, performance reviews, employee development plans, reporting, and training leaders and employees on performance management processes.
Training & Development- Develop, implement, and maintain training programs across multiple divisions.
- Create and update training materials, presentations, job aids, procedures, and e-learning content.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Assign, track, validate, and maintain required training and compliance records.
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reporting to leadership.
- Assist with administration of the Performance Management system.
- Support annual performance reviews, reporting, and employee and manager assistance.
- Train managers and employees on performance management processes.
- Assist with goal setting and development planning.
- Generate performance metrics and reports.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems.
- Support HR policies and compliance initiatives.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in training, learning and development, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or Performance Management systems preferred.
