INRAE Job Opportunity

INRAE, the National Institute for Agricultural Research, Food, and Environment, is a public research organization that brings together 12,000 collaborators within 272 units spread across 18 centers in France. As the leading global specialized organization in agriculture, food, and the environment, INRAE plays a key role in supporting the necessary transitions in the face of major global challenges.

INRAE is committed to developing scientific solutions and supporting the evolution of agricultural, food, and environmental practices in response to the increase in population, food security issues, climate change, resource scarcity, and biodiversity decline.

Work Environment, Missions, and Activities

You will join the decentralized research support services (SDAR) of the Val de Loire center, which brings together numerous scientific units. These services carry out, on behalf of the center, the administrative, budgetary, financial, human resources, and logistical missions necessary for the proper functioning of research activities.

You will be welcomed in the human resources department, led by the human resources manager, and integrated into the "personnel administration" pole, which includes 5 agents under the functional responsibility of the personnel administration manager.

You will intervene in the various areas of individual and collective administrative management of agents (civil servants and contractual staff), in compliance with the rules and procedures applicable to the public service and INRAE, as well as in the payment of contractual staff, like all your colleagues. You will also participate in the organization and management of collective HR procedures such as competitions.

As an accessory, if needed and at the request of the HR manager, you may be asked to intervene transversally or as reinforcement within the HR service, which is otherwise composed of a team dedicated to training.

At the heart of the interactions between agents, research units, and the human resources function, you contribute to the reliability of management acts, the quality of transmitted information, and the securing of professional journeys.

  • Monitor regulatory developments and take them into account
  • Write certificates and administrative letters
  • Participate in the preparation of activity reports
  • Participate in service meetings and HR networks
