This role will require onsite support and is not available to be worked remotely.

As the Hollow Metal Business Unit HR Business Partner, you will support manufacturing functions across McKenzie, TN, Irving, TX, and other service centers. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to enable the business’s strategy through people, addressing labor relations, employee engagement, recruitment, talent development, performance management, investigations, compensation, and merit review.

• Provide day‑to‑day coaching to leadership on employee relations, policy interpretation, talent management, and organizational design.
• Act as the primary HR point of contact for union‑related matters and drive employee relations solutions.
• Deliver training for managers and staff on contract interpretation, grievance procedures, and labor relations best practices.
• Lead the organization’s response to contract grievances, prepare written responses and facilitate resolution with union partners.
• Collaborate with Labor Relations and legal counsel to ensure consistent application of collective bargaining agreements.
• Serve as the lead investigator for workplace investigations, including harassment, discrimination, and misconduct allegations.
• Analyze and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts and complaints.
• Contribute to HR initiatives such as employee engagement, policy development, organizational change, and systems improvements.
• Work across teams to implement people‑centered strategies and promote a team‑based culture.
• Identify training needs and assist business leaders in aligning training programs with business objectives.
• Conduct weekly staffing planning meetings.
• Help solve conflicts and facilitate positive employee relations to maintain morale and reduce turnover.
• Assist with and lead employee engagement related initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Three or more years of experience as an HR business partner with labor management knowledge; experience in a union environment preferred.
• Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
• Extensive experience with HRIS systems;
  Workday experience is a plus.
• Payroll and timekeeping experience.
