Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Manager provides HR leadership and guidance in partnership with business leaders at sites/branches or within functions. The role drives strategic HR initiatives in talent management, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, and compensation and benefits. Responsibilities include implementing recruiting strategies, retention strategies, legal compliance, payroll, communication, orientation, training, and related administrative functions.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to guide and support business initiatives and align them with the Human Resource strategy.
  • Act as a change agent, developing transition plans, leading communication and engagement activities for transformation initiatives.
  • Establish recruitment processes and procedures to attract and retain talent.
  • Implement employee and labor relations programs, including employment, employee relations, labor relations, compensation administration, performance management, benefits, recognition, training and workforce communications.
  • Facilitate and/or provide training and development, including orientation, to management and the workforce.
  • Coach and consult managers and employees to resolve problems.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Drive exit interview process, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Promote diversity-related initiatives within the assigned area or country.
  • Support timely and effective communication and administration of deliverables.
  • Generate and analyze reports using internal and external data to support business cases and meet regulatory requirements.
Skills & Abilities Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Social Sciences and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, or equivalent education and work experience.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Previous experience with payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
Language Skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • English (reading, writing, verbal).
Other Skills
  • General HR knowledge, management skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, consulting, change management, operational management, decision making, financial and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of local employment and labor laws/regulations.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
  • Able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months (mild to moderate).
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally: bending
  • Frequently: walking, standing, sitting
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 11-20 pounds; reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel.
Work Environment

Rare exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.
