2175 - 21010 - Business Systems Analyst
Global medical device manufacturer, DeRoyal, is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Powell, TN corporate team! The ideal candidate will work with DeRoyal users to configure and implement software for use in management of processes at DeRoyal, including the JDE ERP system. Work will focus on process design, implementation and troubleshooting to include process improvements.
SomeKey Responsibilities Include:
- Act as an expert for specific areas of the company to include process analysis, training, data cleansing, data archiving, and process implementation.
- Design new processes to meet desired process outcome and business objectives.
- Prepare detailed software and hardware recommendations for specific system needs.
- Conduct workshops and investigations to analyze current processes and business objectives
- Pilot processes within systems to meet desired process outcomes and business objectives.
- Redesign current processes to meet business objectives as needed.
- Configure system to meet process requirements and business objectives.
- Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and data to be used to test the design (Integrated Test).
- Execute test scripts in conjunction with software upgrades and changes.
- Interface with other teams and DeRoyal users to ensure efficient integration of software.
- Develop end user training materials and documentation for the process and groups involved.
- Train end users on specific processes and system applications.
- Act as an expert for issues affecting specific application areas, and troubleshoot these issues.
- Verify that projects completed by the team meet specified requirements and timelines.
- Attend application training and User Conferences in order to stay abreast of current and upcoming system enhancements.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years related experience,
ADDITIONALSKILLS:
This role requires proficiency in writing and interpreting SQL statements for data analysis, reporting and issue resolution. Must be able to read and understand computer programming logic. A solid understanding of basic hardware architecture and system infrastructure is essential to effectively diagnose and resolve performance and connectivity issues. Experience with JDE table structures, data mappings, and integration points is highly desirable.
