SMS is hiring a Network Administrator Mid to support our Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract. This position will provide Tier 2 Network Administration support augmenting Air National Guard Communications Squadron personnel in operating NIPR and SIPR Base Area Network infrastructure. Job Responsibilities
* Provide remote Network Operations Center support from forward-deployed location ensuring continuity of NOC operations and distributed network management capabilities
* Serve as backup NOC operations capability providing redundancy for centralized NOC functions
* Monitor assigned network infrastructure and systems from remote location
* Coordinate with primary NOC personnel ensuring seamless handoff of monitoring and management responsibilities
* Provide NOC management decision-making support during primary NOC disruptions or contingency situations
* Perform network monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting activities independently
* Maintain proficiency with all NOC tools, processes, and procedures
* Support distributed operations model enabling resilient network management during crisis or disaster recovery scenarios
* Coordinate with on-site base personnel for localized network issues
* Ensure continuous network monitoring coverage and operational awareness
* Participate in NOC training and readiness activities
* Maintain secure communications and coordination channels with primary NOC

Required Qualifications

* Education:

BA/BS Degree

* Experience:

5 Years Certifications Required
* Cisco CCNA or equivalent
* CompTIA Security+CE Clearance Required
