Senior QA Analyst - Product & Application Testing

We're seeking a Senior QA Analyst who can take ownership of testing across software and mobile applications while partnering closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.

This role is ideal for someone who doesn't simply execute test cases - they look at the entire product
, understand how functionality should work, identify risk areas, and continuously improve test coverage.

• Develop and maintain manual test cases for new functionality and regression testing.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing.
• Analyze application functionality to identify testing gaps and potential risks.
• Develop testing data and validate results using SQL.
• Document and communicate defects clearly.
• Partner with Developers and Business Analysts to investigate and resolve issues.
• Review application logs to support troubleshooting.
• Configure testing environments and support software deployments.
• Track testing progress against project timelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA input throughout the project lifecycle.
• Become a subject matter expert on assigned products and features.
• Review existing test cases and improve coverage where necessary.
• Support API and integration testing.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for test cases, defects, and testing results.

• 5+ years of QA experience preferred.
• 2+ years testing web-based applications.
• Strong manual testing experience.
• Experience creating detailed test plans and test cases.
• SQL experience with SQL Server.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Selenium or other UI automation tools.
• Postman, Fiddler, or similar API testing tools.
• Jira.
• Test Rail.
• Mobile devices.
• POS/payment terminals.
• NFC-enabled applications or devices.
• Hardware testing or electrical/wiring experience.

Contract Details:

* 1-year assignment

* Chattanooga, TN

* Hybrid - 3 days onsite

* Potential for conversion based on performance and business needs

* No expected overtime
