The MC&A SNM Application Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the department application system. The position will assist with software development and systems quality assurance through the validation and verification testing during development cycles. Assists users of department system with regard to problem reconciliation, system enhancements, and analytical queries. The SNM Application Specialist assists in addressing problem areas and aids in the implementation of corrective measures and ensures the department’s software system meets management's business and regulatory objectives.

Your Day to Day as a SNM Application Specialist- Assists in administration of department application system and provides technical support for users and plant operations.
- Maintains application system data for SNM item control, process monitoring, inventory, measurements, and transfers to assure acceptable data integrity
- Coordinates the correction of data errors with system users and within the application
- Assists with investigation and reconciliation of inventories, ledgers, and reports to assure data accuracy
- Assists users and management in development of SQL ad-hoc requests from existing departmental system to allow for extraction and analysis of MC&A data.
- Assists with inputs to the formulation of general and detailed system design by providing specifications based on user and departmental requirements and needs.
- Assists with providing software and systems quality assurance through the validation and verification testing during its development cycle to ensure the design objectives are being met.
- Assists in identification of problem areas, appropriate system and/or procedure changes, and aids in the implementation of corrective measures.
- Maintains systems documentation and assists in training for both end users and management.
- Performs assigned work in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
- 4 year degree:
Technical field, computer science, information systems, or business. - 3-5 years revelant experience.

Pay: $60,000- $90,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
