Demand Planner
We are looking for a demand planner that will be responsible for developing and executing demand planning processes for our client that manufactures products for various well-known companies. This person would be responsible for creating and developing the forecasting model. You will align with key members of multiple departments to provide insight and continually improve pricing models. The ideal person will have the ability to work with sales, manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, and additional operations teams to increase overall efficiency.

Demand Planner
- Collect and review the demand plan with main account managers
- Ensure new products / phased in phased out / are properly reflected in the demand plan
- Maintain demand plan to ensure the customer demand is properly reflected
- Generate the demand plan to the SKU level for the production planner
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend action plans.
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business assumptions
- Lead demand plan meeting with account managers.
- Implement demand planning processes and systems aligned to the corporate global guidelines
- Mentor and train other planners as needed.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
Demand Planner
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or relevant field.
- 2+ years of related experience in demand planning/forecasting role.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPF certification preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge of SAP preferred
