In this position, you will negotiate and administer complex subcontracts and uses discretionary latitude to negotiate financial, contractual, technical terms, conditions, and provisions to establish and maintain major subcontracts.
This position is onsite in Piney Flats, Tennessee.
What you'll be doing as a Supply Chain Procurement Professional:- liExecute standard purchasing procedures within an assigned commodity to ensure the timely delivery of supplies and materials. liServe as key interface for subcontract administration of major systems and complex components for aircraft production, product upgrade and new program development. liAdditional responsibilities include but are not limited to, purchase order management, competitive pricing adherence, inventory analysis, new supplier qualification and negotiation of long-term agreements.
liWork closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to facilitate cost reduction initiatives that enhance overall affordability and quality of our aircraft. liUtilize discretionary latitude within approved purchasing procedures and compliance for all contractual obligations regarding Bell Helicopter and the Supplier. Establish and maintain comprehensive and current subcontracts that adhere to program requirements and obligations. liAs required, obtain and furnish supplier data to other functional disciplines and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) management.
liOther duties as assigned /ul Qualifications Skills You Bring to This Role:
- liBachelor's degree required. liMinimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, commodity management, contract administration, financial analysis, cost analysis, or commodity/raw materials pricing. liAbility to travel up to 10% a year or as business needs dictate. liProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
liStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act on complex data. liSelf-motivated with demonstrated initiative and follow-through. liExcellent writing, presentation, and communication skills. liExperience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) is preferred. liFamiliarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies is preferred. /ul

Physical Requirements:
- liAbility to work at a computer for extended periods, including typing, viewing screens, and navigating multiple software systems. liOccasional movement throughout office and manufacturing environments, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs when visiting production areas or meeting with cross-functional teams. liAbility to lift and carry small items (generally under 20 lbs), such as documents, laptops, or materials needed for meetings or supplier visits.
liMust be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in group settings. liMay require wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while in designated manufacturing or supplier areas. /ul What we offer you in return:
