Entry Level Supply Chain Procurement Associate

We are looking for curious, adaptable, and self-driven individuals with a passion to innovate and an interest in supply chain management. In this role, you'll help ensure the timely delivery of supplies and materials that are critical to our aircraft production, product upgrades, and new program development. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional partners to support cost reduction initiatives that enhance the overall affordability and quality of our aircraft.
As a Supply Chain Procurement Associate at Bell, you can expect to:
- Execute standard purchasing procedures within assigned commodities and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support purchase order management activities, including order placement, changes, tracking, and adherence to competitive pricing and contractual terms.
- Assist with inventory analysis and provide input to the negotiation and administration of long-term agreements.
- Maintain and manage open-order reports, ensuring accurate visibility of status for all assigned suppliers.
- Help maintain comprehensive and current subcontracts that adhere to program requirements, obligations, and compliance standards.
- Obtain and furnish supplier data to cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, SCM/IPT management) to support program execution and decision-making.
- Integrate with cross-functional departments through robust communication to gain essential understanding of the business and supplier performance.
- Learn and utilize procurement systems and tools such as SAP, Ariba, and the Microsoft Office suite to perform daily responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What You'll Need:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10% per year or as business needs dictate.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office application suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer software modules, such as SAP, Ariba, and other enterprise systems.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team-player mindset.

- Demonstrated interest in acquisitions, sourcing, supplier management, and negotiations (through coursework, internships, co-ops, or project work).
- Experience using ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) in an academic or professional setting.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret supplier, cost, and inventory data to support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and customers.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations.
