General Manager
Join our team as the General Manager and take full ownership of a growing manufacturing operation, with complete P&L responsibility. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead every core function across manufacturing purchasing customer service sales engineering and project management, and set the strategy that drives on time delivery quality and profitable growth.
This role is ideal for a hands on operations leader who has experience handling real P&L ownership and who wants the autonomy to run the operation as if it were their own, as well as long term growth with a stable and expanding company.
General Manager | What You Will Do- Own the annual operating plan and full P&L for the manufacturing location
- Drive on time shipments and PPM quality by aligning manpower material and schedule to customer commitments
- Partner with sales on major quotes and new business that fit plant capabilities and margin goals
- Build and develop a high performing leadership team across operations engineering and support functions
- Lead CI and Lean initiatives and kaizen events that deliver measurable results
- Develop the annual CAPEX plan with ROI justification for new equipment and upgrades
- Take a lead role in leveraging the full power of the ERP system for capacity planning scheduling and simulation
- A bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Manufacturing leadership experience with full P&L responsibility preferred
- Proven ability to lead multiple functions and a team of ten to fifteen direct reports
- Strong command of ERP and MRP systems Excel and business reporting tools
- Demonstrated success deploying Lean Manufacturing with measurable results
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings tolerances and quality criteria
- Strong financial analytical and people leadership skills
- Full P&L ownership and the autonomy to run the operation
