In this role you'll...

• Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions
• Correctly and efficiently setup screen, squeegee, and control knobs to properly print orders
• Verify that correct ink meets the specifications for the apparel printed
• Understand the variety of locations for various apparel products
• Start presses and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density, alignment, and registration
• Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any necessary adjustments
• Produce a quality product while meeting production standards
• Maintain time or production records
• Flexibility to cross-train in other departments
• Pack product as required

Schedule

Typical Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Overtime may be required to meet production volume. Weekend shifts may be occasionally needed (to be discussed during interview).

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $15 an hour with opportunities for increase every 6 months alongside performance reviews.

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, previous printing experience preferred, basic computer skills & mechanical aptitude
• On the job training is provided

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work with inks and chemicals
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, manufacturing environment
• Extensive Attention to Detail
• Strong oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to stand 8-10 hour shift
