American Display & Fixtures – Chattanooga, TN

Monday-Thursday

3:30pm-2:00am

American Display & Fixture (ADF) is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating MIG welding equipment to fabricate high-quality metal displays and fixtures according to design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding layout and procedures
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications
  • Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for welding
  • Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps
  • Perform MIG welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, and overhead)
  • Inspect welds and finished structures to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company guidelines
  • Communicate issues, defects, or inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly
  • Assist with general production tasks as needed
  • Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor or management to support team goals and production efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints
  • Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to follow procedures
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when required
