Overview

We're hiring 5+ dependable, detail-focused Heavy Industrial Component Technicians to break down and prepare large metal components used in transportation and logistics. This is physically demanding yet steady, hands-on work-lifting, disassembling, loading, and refurbishing heavy parts with industrial equipment to ensure they're clean and ready for quality checks.

You'll start in the breakdown and component prep department but quickly cross-train across the shop, building valuable skills and earning a raise with every new skill you master.

Shifts

• Morning Shift: 5am - 2pm

Retention Bonus

• $1,000 retention bonus after 90 days (through Laborup)

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Load and lift industrial bearing assemblies through a series of operations
• Disassemble used metal components with hydraulic presses and hand tools.
• Run parts through industrial cleaners to prep them for quality inspection.
• Monitor cleanliness and quality before passing components to inspection.
• Adjust and maintain equipment settings for washers
• Handle and move heavy components safely throughout the process.
• Perform routine maintenance on wash and blast equipment.

Qualifications

Basic

• Manufacturing or quality-focused experience preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
• Familiarity with dimensional and visual quality inspection
• Comfortable using hand tools and rotary tools
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Follow written procedures and perform basic math

Physical

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
• Frequent lifting, walking, reaching, pushing, and handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Moderate twisting and bending.

Environmental

• Loud manufacturing floor
• Exposure to metals, lubricants, and process chemicals
• Seasonal variation in temperature (cold/heat)
