Engineering Technician

Location: Telford

Summary:

This job is responsible for technical assistance across the plant and to work alongside engineers to review, develop, and implement manufacturing processes.

Essential Functions of the Job:
The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following:

* Participating in the establishment and deployment of standard processes, policies, and procedures across the plant.

* Understand, adjust, and write work instructions.

* Conducting research, collecting data, and writing daily reports.

* Conducting experiments and investigations under the guidance of Engineers.

* Working alongside engineers to design, build, and test solutions to a variety of technical problems.

* Participate and lead small projects.

* Audit standard processes and use continuous improvement tools to implement improvements.

* Work with other departments as required.

* Create and design signs / markings for all necessary duties.

* Use the following software programs while performing the job: SAP, Nutech, SAPME, Auto Cad, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Confluence, Solid Works, and Word.

* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge of Lean/ Six Sigma/ 5S

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, or related software.

* Strong experience with AS400 and/or SAP

* Associate's degree in a related field; or minimum of two years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.
