About the Opportunity- Maintain critical metals needed for the production process.
- Ensure accurate operation record keeping, documenting all processing steps both on paper and in databases.
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to ensure quality and compliance.
- Assemble diaphragms and related components as needed.
- Weld Iridium crucibles according to specifications.
- Set up and weld various materials and piping using appropriate equipment and processes.
- Clean metals using a media blaster (or media blasting equipment).
- Press various metals to meet specifications.
- Preheat and perform stress-relieving processes.
- Heat treat parts, tools, and materials (carbonizing, tempering, annealing, stress relieving).
- Weld specialized metal components to established specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain and prepare critical metals used throughout the production process.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with production requirements.
- Record and document all processing steps accurately using both paper and electronic systems.
- Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Perform all related operations such as acetylene cut, arc gouging, plasma cut, brazing, and soldering.
- Preheat and stress relieve.
- Prep, clean and stress metal surfaces by grit blasting peening.
- Chip, grind, and clean weldments.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in a product-oriented technical-industrial environment.
- 1+ year of welding experience.
- 1+ year of experience assembling diaphragms and parts.
- Good PC skills (MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to weld various metals, including Iridium, platinum, and aluminum.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Subject to background check upon employment offer.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
