Warehouse Operator-Night Shift

Location:

1950 Industrial Blvd, Jasper, Tennessee

Warehouse Operator position in the Small Parts department reporting to the Shift Supervisor. Responsible for accurate handling, movement, and documentation of materials and products within a manufacturing environment to ensure efficient production flow and inventory accuracy.

Night Shift: 08:00 AM – 06:15 PM, Monday‑Thursday.

• Move and document materials/products to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Store and label physical steel inventory.
• Interpret production and shipping orders.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety practices.
• Make decisions regarding moving, receiving, and storing material.
• Prioritize workloads and resolve discrepancies.
• Use IFS and Zebra handheld and desktop computer systems.
• Receive inbound inventory for current and upcoming orders.
• Assist with material staging and general plant cleanup and housekeeping.
• Perform daily crane, forklift, and equipment inspections.
• Stay 100% in an outdoor environment; work 90% of the day standing or walking.
• Renew forklift certification as required.

• Proficient with computers and inventory management systems (IFS, Zebra, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk 90% of the workday and stoop/bend 10%.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and required PPE.

• One year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing or outdoor setting.
• Experience moving materials in a warehouse or storage yard.
• Prior use of inventory management systems.
• Valid forklift operator license for all forklifts used in the position.
