Production Supervisor - New Johnsonville, TN PRODUCTION MANAGER SAFETY

• Responsible for providing a safe environment for all employees assigned to them.
• Responsible for Accident and Incident investigations in their area.
• Responsible for acceptance/review of customer orders for safety and quality.
• Responsible for the strict adherence of the company safety program and the maintaining good employee relations for the personnel assigned to them.

• Responsible for the performance of plant employees and activities.
• Schedules work and maintains production to ensure quality and on time goals are met.
• Responsible for acceptance/review of customer work orders for feasibility and on-time delivery.
• Promotes ideas for developing and implementing capital projects.
• Maintains and promotes 5S throughout their production area, equipment and grounds.
• Makes recommendations to Operations Manager as needed for production and operational improvements.
• Utilizes appropriate metrics to ensure operations are operating efficiently.
• Assist in the preparations of performance reviews and disciplinary action. Responsible for employee training.

• Responsible for maintaining and improving production efficiency and quality systems in their area.
• Maintains and monitors quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement throughout their area.

• Bachelor Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 Years operational and managerial experience. Additional experience may replace the need for a degree.
  
  IS0-9001 training preferred.
