Maintenance Spare Parts Coordinator

The Maintenance Spare Parts Coordinator oversees and controls inventory for maintenance spare parts to ensure accurate records and timely availability for the maintenance team. This role maintains the inventory master list, creates and manages parts lists, prepares parts for purchase, and updates the spare parts system using Excel and a CMMS. The coordinator ensures that all inventory records and cycle counts are precise so the maintenance department can rely on up-to-date information on spare parts.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the inventory master list for maintenance spare parts.
  • Create, manage, and organize spare parts lists to support maintenance activities.
  • Prepare spare parts for purchase and ensure accurate documentation for procurement.
  • Use Excel and CMMS software to track, organize, and update spare parts inventory.
  • Maintain and track all inventory records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Manage stocking activities in the tool crib to ensure parts are properly stored and accessible.
  • Provide accurate and timely inventory updates to the maintenance department.
  • Support inventory control processes to maintain 100% accuracy of spare parts records.
  • Conduct data entry related to parts inventory and maintain organized digital and physical records.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with inventory management and inventory control for maintenance spare parts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and analyzing inventory data.
  • Ability to use a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage spare parts records.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with tool crib operations and parts stocking processes.
  • Ability to maintain 100% accuracy in inventory records to support maintenance needs.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Experience working alongside a maintenance department or in an industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple inventory tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with both digital systems and physical inventory in a tool crib setting.

Work Environment

Steel-toe footwear is required as part of the safety attire in this industrial environment.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
