For our Business Unit Bakery, we are looking for a profile with a mechatronics background, possibly with knowledge of our sector.
The candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of ovens and bakery lines, ensuring their production process and verifying that new machinery operates effectively and efficiently.
The Field Commissioning Engineer is responsible for identifying and promptly resolving any defects that may occur in the machinery and, where necessary, also finalizing the mechanical and electrical installation.
What you will do:
- Manage electrical and mechanical completion activities during the commissioning or production support phase
- Schedule operation tests to ensure that all components of machines and ovens function correctly and meet the required performance in collaboration with food technology experts
- Identify and resolve defects or malfunctions during startup and report any non-conformities to ensure product improvement
- Manage customer relations during the commissioning phase until the start-up
- Be responsible for production tests and final commissioning
- Write detailed reports on tests, results, and modifications made
- Analyze plant performance after startup, identifying areas for improvement
- Conduct on-site training for operators on the use and routine maintenance of machines and ovens
What we are looking for in you:
- Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Ability to work in teams, collaborating with colleagues and partners and promoting a cooperative and synergistic work environment
- Ability to plan and organize activities efficiently to meet deadlines and project objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good problem-solving attitude in complex areas to handle unexpected situations during the startup process
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Experience in a similar role
- Customer orientation
- Constant and proactive commitment
Extra points if you have:
- Knowledge of mechatronics engineering principles
- Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell
- Previous experience in a similar sector
- Knowledge of Spanish
The role requires availability for travel for approximately 200 days per year.
