Sewing Machine Operator

Location: Vonore, TN
Pay Rate: $17.05 per hour
Shift: Monday – Thursday 6 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re hiring motivated individuals who keep things moving.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ months of sewing or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Regularly required to sit, use hands, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Requires close attention to detail and visual focus.

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and sew product components.
• Sew cut pieces to form finished covers, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
• Understand material properties, including stretch and behavior during sewing.
• Determine efficient sewing sequences to optimize production flow.
• Maintain product quality throughout the production process.
• Read and follow process sheets and production instructions.
• Communicate production issues and support timely resolution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
