Utility Relief Operator - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Focus on SAFETY at all times. Must be willing to work in a TEAM environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to recognize problems and make sound judgments relating to the problem.
• Ability to operate and understand processes in a computer controlled environment.
• Ability to interpret job orders and insure conformity to specifications.
• Inspect bags as they come off the machine.
• Tend and operate machine that automatically cuts, folds, and adheres paper bags.
• Responsible for entering production data into Radius operating system.
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and production.
• Inspect bags as they come off the machine.
• Catch/Stack to ensure running of machine.
• Maintain housekeeping including clean-up of machine area and surrounding workstation.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

• High school diploma or GED required
• Mechanically inclined for machine adjustments.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Utilize basic math skills in calculation.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
• Ability to stand on feet 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively.
