Position reports to: Production Manager
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi‑finished parts into components or finished parts at the right time and with the required quality. Each day you will execute assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, reporting any non‑compliance. You will showcase expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
Work model:
Onsite. This role contributes to the success of the ABB busway plant in Selmer, TN.
- Perform routine machinery set‑up, adjustments, repairs, and fitting simple replacement parts.
- Ensure regular maintenance of equipment, tools set‑up, programming activities, troubleshooting, reporting issues, and maintain detailed records of machinery set‑ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Track approved, defective units, and final products.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing/industrial/machine operation experience preferred.
