Position OverviewAs a Manufacturing CNC Technician, you will support machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and advanced manufacturing development. This role requires strong CNC programming expertise, hand‑on mechanical capability, and the ability to support prototype and production operations. You will ensure high‑quality execution across all manufacturing processes while contributing to process improvements and technology development.
LocationOn‑site in Jonesborough, Tennessee
Your Day‑to‑Day as a Manufacturing CNC Technician- Program CNC machines using Solid Works‑to‑Mastercam workflows to fabricate high‑precision parts.
- Support design model creation and manufacturing drawing alignment with CNC capabilities.
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection of mechanical components and systems.
- Support development and qualification of advanced manufacturing technologies and new processes.
- Assist in the assembly and qualification of prototype and production equipment.
- Support equipment installation and prepare qualification reports.
- Maintain inventory of materials, components, and tooling.
- Support procurement and control of tooling and mechanical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC and shop equipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and automated systems.
- Operate forklift trucks, lifts, and various shop equipment safely.
- Perform in‑process and final inspections with Quality Control.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and laboratory environment.
- Perform additional engineering and manufacturing support tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of mechanical/electrical fabrication experience.
- Extensive background in computer‑aided machining and CNC programming.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hand‑on shop experience.
- Advanced manual machining skills.
- Knowledge of CNC systems (DMG Mori, Okuma, Haas, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
