Salary: $18 per hour
Shift: 6:30am-3pm, occasional overtime

What's a typical day as Press Brake Machine Operator? You'll be:
- Setting up and operating press brake machines to bend sheet metal parts according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Selecting and installing tooling, dies, and back gauges for each job, ensuring proper alignment and secure setup
- Inspecting first-piece parts for dimensional accuracy and adjusting machine settings as needed
- Monitoring the press brake during operation to maintain consistent quality and prevent damage or misfeeds
- Measuring finished parts using calipers, protractors, and other precision tools to verify conformance to specifications
- Handling and staging raw material and finished parts safely using hoists, carts, or forklifts as required
- Maintaining accurate production documentation including part counts, rejects, and setup records
- Performing basic maintenance such as cleaning dies, lubricating components, and checking hydraulic levels
- Following all safety procedures related to pinch points, guards, and machine operation
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following 5S and Lean manufacturing standards
- Communicating tooling or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance personnel
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, flat patterns, and part drawings (required)
- Are skilled in setup and operation of press brake machines and related forming tools (required)
- Possess knowledge of metal types and thicknesses, and how they respond to bending operations
- Demonstrate precision measurement skills using calipers, micrometers, and angle finders
- Have strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Practice safe work habits around high-force machinery and moving components
- Have basic computer or data entry skills for recording production and inspection results
- Are committed to teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement
- Preferably have a high school diploma or GED, and 3–6 months of related experience and/or training
