Flat Storage Crew: 12-Hour Night Shift, 4-3 Rotation (Manufacturing)

In Flat Storage, employees will assist in the proper processing of our bulk warehouse items associated with our Feed mill. This position is not climate controlled and is subject to working in very cold to extreme hot weather conditions. The work involves unloading bulk products from delivery trucks using heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractors to safely move products within the warehouse.

The product will then be processed using grinders, turbo separators, and feed mixers to reduce the product to fine powder and then sent to our Feed mill for further processing. In addition to processing the bulk ingredients, workers will also assist in breaking down boxes and other packaging using a baler. All these processes, both processing bulk ingredients and breaking down storage boxes, are subject to dust.

In this role you should expect to

• Operate material-handling equipment including forklift, tractor, mixer, turbo separator and grinder
• Operate equipment such as box cutter and baler to process storage boxes/containers
• Unload bulk ingredient items from trucks
• Ensure all ingredients are delivered to the feed mill in a timely manner
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Champion a Safety culture
• Other duties as assigned
