Feed Mill Operator (Manufacturing)

Every week, our team produces approximately 8,000 tons of feed to support more than one million hogs each year. As a Feed Mill Operator, you'll play an important role in making sure our animals receive the quality feed they need every day. If you enjoy hands‑on work, working with equipment, and being part of a team that keeps things moving, we'd love to hear from you.

Day Shift

5:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.

• Sunday
• Monday
• Tuesday
• Every other Wednesday

Enjoy a consistent 12-hour day shift schedule that provides built-in days off throughout the week, with opportunities for overtime based on business needs.

• Operate equipment used to mix, grind, pellet, cool, and prepare livestock feed.
• Follow established procedures to produce safe, high-quality feed.
• Unload feed ingredients and finished products safely and efficiently.
• Load and move finished feed to the correct locations.
• Safely operate forklifts, yard trucks (yard dogs), and other equipment.
• Inspect equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance to help keep the mill running safely.
• Report equipment concerns or maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep accurate production logs and required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
• Follow all company safety, biosecurity, food safety, and operating procedures.
• Support Tosh Farms  commitment to a Zero Injury Safety Culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned
