Choate Engineering Performance LLC is looking for a motivated CNC Assistant/Apprentice to join their team in Bolivar, TN! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the craft of CNC machining from the ground up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. • Assist CNC machinists and operators with daily machining operations and production tasks
• Learn to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines under the guidance of experienced staff
• Support quality control by inspecting finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications
• Help with loading and unloading raw materials and finished components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with shop standards
• Assist with basic machine maintenance and tooling changes
• Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders as directed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Interest in CNC machining, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn precision machining techniques
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
