- Supervising and coordinating production of team members.
- Setting benchmarks and performance goals of team members.
- Preparing performance evaluations of team members.
- Overseeing training of team members.
- Maintaining accurate data in ERP (SAP and Track and Trace) system.
- Generating productivity reports.
- Ensuring quality standards and a safe working environment.
- Coordinating schedules to meet production deadlines for machining.
- Manufacturing, troubleshooting and repairing parts, components, and systems.
- Interfacing with designers, engineers and administration on new projects.
- Providing customer support when needed.
- Supporting other team areas with cross-functional tasks.
- Identify and implement production improvements for productivity and quality of work of tooling, programming, fixturing, and material flow.
- Ability to effectively launch new parts through programming and production process development
- Maintaining proper housekeeping ensuring 5S is implemented.
- Responsibility to lead production team to manufacture fixturing and templates for production parts.
- Fulfilling other duties as determined by skill level and corporate need.
High School Diploma or advanced degree required.
Special Skills/Qualifications Needed:
- Willingness to learn and work in other areas.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities as needed.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools including but not limited to jigs, grinders, saws, torches, drill presses, and other pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming (Mastercam preferred)
- Proficiency in CNC Machining
- Show proficiency on all projects in the department.
- Familiar with company policies, procedures and instructions.
