The Sheet Metal Machine Operator is responsible for setting up,operating, andmaintainingsheet metal fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. This role involves working with press brake, shear, punch press, CNC, and roll former. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to safety, quality and efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.

- Set up andoperatesheet metal fabrication equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and job travelers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and measurement specifications
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to meet dimensional and quality requirements
- Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machines
- Identify defects, scrap causes, and process improvement opportunities
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime records
- Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with5S standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues

QualificationsJob Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience required in Construction and/or Manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
- Perform basic math and reading comprehension
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete for a full shift and work in temperatures above 95°F
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and lift 50lbs.alone; lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to handle tools safely and inspect finished products
