Production Manager, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Job Summary:
A Supervisor is responsible for providing front line direction, instruction, coordination,organization, planning and other similar activities involved with the day-to-day manufacturing process.
Production Supervisors are responsible for the productiveness and efficiency of their assigned employee sand ensure employees have approved tools and materials needed to complete their work to meet our customers’ production demands.
- Set up and optimize machine programs for operator
- Plan work schedule for machines and staff based on planning schedule.
- Work with maintenance to schedule PPM of machines or when machines have issues.
- Work with purchasing and planning for material issues and shortages.
- Adhering to and enforcing all safety rules and regulations Maintain an orderly and efficient work area.
- Keep current with production requirements and schedules. Ensure the timely distribution of work orders and meet all required shipping dates by prioritizing workflow.
- Determine work assignments; insure efficient and effective utilization of the workforce.
- Must be able to read blueprints and other types of technical documents and have the ability to read and comprehend simple and moderately complex instructions.
- Train, explain and adhere to company quality policies, procedures and standards.
- Responsible for completion and maintaining company required records on a daily shift basis.
- This is an on-site role at one of our Manufacturing Facilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel to U.S. and Mexico manufacturing locations (approximately 25–40%) to provide on‑site plant support as business needs require.
