Four-Day Work Week | Robot Welder / Metal Prep Technician | $23.00/Hour
We're hiring for a Robot Welder / Metal Prep Technician position with a manufacturing company in the Cookeville area. This is a great opportunity for someone with MIG and TIG welding experience who enjoys hands‑on work, quality craftsmanship, and working with advanced production equipment. Enjoy a consistent day shift schedule and three‑day weekends every week.
What you'll do:- Operate robotic welding equipment and assist with part loading and unloading
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components
- Tack, weld, and assemble parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read mechanical drawings and follow work instructions
- Use hand tools and welding equipment safely and efficiently
- MIG and TIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Experience using hand tools and measuring devices
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule:
- Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Days/hours: Day Shift
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
