Social Media Manager

Anakeesta is seeking a creative, strategic, and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the social voice of our award-winning outdoor adventure park. This role blends big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution, shaping our social presence, bringing our experiences to life through engaging content, and connecting with our audience in an authentic, energetic, and on-brand way. • Develop and execute social media strategies for Anakeesta and other properties
• Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, events, and seasonal priorities
• Identify trends, opportunities, and platform innovations to keep our brands fresh and relevant

• Oversee daily posting across all social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok
• Capture and create content on-site including photo, video, and real-time storytelling
• Collaborate with internal photographer and videographer to produce high-quality content
• Ensure individual brand voices and visual consistency across both properties

• Manage community engagement including comments and messages in a timely and brand-aligned way
• Monitor sentiment and provide insights to leadership

• Lead influencer outreach and relationship management
• Coordinate visits, itineraries, and deliverables for creators
• Track performance and return on investment of influencer campaigns

• Track and report on performance metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and conversions
• Use insights to optimize content, posting strategy, and campaigns
  
  Balance data-driven decision making with strong creative instincts

• Attend events, activations, and key moments to capture live content
• Act as the social presence on property
• Confident representing the brand on camera and creating engaging, personality-driven social content

• Strong content creation across photo, video, and copy
• Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok
• Ability to spot trends and create relevant, on-brand content
• Clear and engaging copywriting skills
• Strong community management and audience engagement
• Influencer outreach and relationship management
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to adjust strategy

• 3-5+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
• Experience working with consumer-facing brands, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle
• Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences
• Experience creating and editing content using mobile devices and editing tools
• Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
• Experience coordinating influencer campaigns and partnerships
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred but not required
• Ability to work on-site regularly in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and attend events as needed
