Volunteer Role
Tin Collector
Main TasksWe are looking for volunteers to help tins project. The volunteer opportunity will involve responsibility for picking up collection tins within a specific area, the areas that are available are:
- Slough Central
- Langley and Iver
- Marlow
- Bourne End
- Maidenhead
- Ascot
- Visiting locations where tins are collected and replacing with a new tin
- Emptying the tins into Banking bag for Fundraising Specialist to bank and allocate the cash
- Replacing labels on tins and ensuring that they are clean
- Liaising with Fundraising specialist, delivering certificates to tin location
- Engage with the public and represent the charity in a kind manner to all.
- Engage with tin location to see if they would like to discuss fundraising opportunities and pass these on to the Fundraising Specialist

Required Skills, Qualities & ExperienceWe require the Tin volunteers to be enthusiastic, polite and approachable with good communication skills, attention to detail and self-motivation. The volunteers will need to work as part of a team.
Days & Time RequiredFlexible but likely to be a hour a week using own transport.
Training & Support ProvidedTraining, support and guidance will be given to you by staff and other experienced volunteers during the role. All volunteers will require DBS, which ADS will organise.
