Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery department will provide care for maternity women and newborns in the Labor/Delivery, Nursery, and Post‑Partum Units. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, supporting mothers through labor, and facilitating the transition of newborns into the nursery environment.
Responsibilities- Provide care to maternity women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs
- Assist in labor and delivery processes
- Provide education and support to mothers during the postpartum period
- Perform necessary documentation and charting in the EHR system
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- 1+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Fetal monitoring experience (required)
