Cypress Grove Post Acute is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Jackson, Tennessee, offering 170 certified beds. The RN Unit Manager supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Department. This role plays a key part in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Working closely with the Administrator, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing, the RN Unit Manager helps ensure the delivery of exceptional, high‑quality resident care at all times.

• Support the admission and discharge process, including resident assessments and care planning.
• Provide guidance and clinical support to floor nurses to ensure high‑quality resident care.
• Enter and review physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to resident falls and changes in condition, ensuring appropriate interventions and documentation.
• Assist with the completion and review of daily logs, reports, and other required documentation.
• Perform IV insertions and administer IV medications in accordance with clinical standards and facility policy.

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN required; BSN preferred)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long‑term care setting
• Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Team Lead, or Unit Manager) preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state long‑term care regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with care planning, resident assessments, and interdisciplinary team coordination
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• IV therapy competency (including IV insertion and medication administration per facility policy) preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
