Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour. $20,000 sign‑on bonus available. Bonus eligibility limited to candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE. Position is day shift. Call required.

Job Duties
  • Your role serves as a patient advocate and provides patient care through the development and implementation of ongoing systems and practices that promote and maintain quality nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Radiology Department.
  • Preparing patients for procedures: includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history.
  • Inserting and removing intravenous lines, and administering conscious sedation drugs and other drugs.
  • Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure.
  • Overseeing the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Providing post‑procedure monitoring: observing for signs and symptoms of complications, such as bleeding from the puncture site, pain, and/or changes in mental status or vital signs.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse License with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) preferred.
  • Must be able to function independently, be multi‑task oriented, and show excellent prioritizing skills.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
