Location: Dresden

Nuvo Air Medical is a technology‑enabled pulmonary care organization that powers the Dresden Family Clinic and focuses on improving outcomes for patients with chronic respiratory diseases.

We are looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to provide outpatient pulmonary and primary care to adult patients with conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and other respiratory disorders. The role requires 1–2 days per week, flexible Monday‑Thursday schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient pulmonary and primary care to adult patients with COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and other respiratory disorders.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, follow‑up visits, and care coordination in collaboration with supervising pulmonologists.
  • Review pulmonary diagnostics, including spirometry, PFTs, chest imaging, and other relevant clinical data.
  • Manage treatment plans, medication adjustments, and patient education related to pulmonary disease management.
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapists, nurses, care coordinators, and clinical support staff.
  • Document care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record.
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or a related specialty.
  • Comfort with outpatient care delivery models.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient‑centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comfortable working in an electronic medical record (EMR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in pulmonary, respiratory, or chronic disease management.
  • Familiarity with remote patient monitoring, Telehealth platforms, or digital health tools.
  • Experience reviewing PFTs, imaging, and managing long‑term respiratory conditions.
