Registered Nurse - Pediatric Inpatient - Part Time Nights

Job Summary

Provides comprehensive care to children admitted to the hospital on our dedicated pediatric unit for various medical conditions. Ensures the patients receives the highest quality of care during their hospital stay.

• Provides family-centered care
• Conducts thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine their medical needs and monitor their progress
• Works closely with our board-certified pediatric hospitalists and child life specialist to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Explains treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance
• Maintains hospital and unit specific competencies
• Advocates for the needs and best interests of pediatric patients, ensuring they receive appropriate and compassionate care

• Courses offered through the hospital and required within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
