LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - LIBERTY COMMONS OF COLUMBUS COUNTY

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services promotes a challenging, yet rewarding opportunity within a caring environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

Assists in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Delegates duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel and monitors work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Observes patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and mental condition for signs that may indicate adverse change.

Assists in notifying the attending physician of emergencies and the death of patients in the unit, and implements changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High school graduate.

Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.

Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of license renewal every other year.

Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage.

Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.

CPR certified yearly.

Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required.
