Advanced Practitioner Opportunity

Ballad Health Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner for our Spine and Rehabilitation service line.

Our expanding practice is looking for an additional full-time Advanced Practitioner to assist our Physicians in our musculoskeletal and spine outpatient practice. This position is open to both NP's and PA's.

* Experience in PM&R and/or pain management is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Obtaining history and chief complaint.
• Perform physical exams.
• Order and interpret appropriate labs, x-rays, or other diagnostic tests.
• Formulate diagnosis.
• Initiate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education.

Practice information:

• EPIC EMR
• Outpatient practice
• Three office locations – possibly adding a fourth
• Our team currently consists of three Physicians and four Advanced Practitioners
• Virginia and Tennessee licensure
• Primary location will be Kingsport, Tennessee, with possible rotations in Rogersville, Tennessee and Big Stone Gap, Virginia
