Job Purpose:

** NEW PRN POOL*
* ** NEW PRN RATES $45/HR PLUS TRAVEL INCREASE IF DRIVING MORE THAN AN HOUR
** The PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at HOMECARE COMPANY OF TENNESSEE LLC will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. This part-time position requires the LPN to utilize their clinical skills to ensure patient comfort, safety, and well-being while adhering to the company's standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.

Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.

Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Educate patients and their families about health care needs, conditions, and treatments.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress in electronic health records.

Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and company policies.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Required

Education:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

Current and valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee.

Required Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience working as an LPN, preferably in a home care or similar healthcare setting.

Experience in providing patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication.

Required

Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a home care environment.

Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.

Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
