Provide patient care by assessing needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Perform routine assessments of vital signs, monitor patient health, and document responses. Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications. Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects and drug interactions. Develop and administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood and behavior. Use electronic health records to accurately document patient history, treatments, and outcomes.
CriticalInformation
Work hours are full-time, including every other weekend. Onsite as needed; environment involves direct patient care. Schedule created in 6-week blocks following initial training; shifts typically between 7-10 hours during clinic hours. Position involves working on major holidays. Remote work is not applicable; comply with onsite requirements.
Education/Licenses NeededActive and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in the United States. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
