Part-Time Nurse Practitioner; NP) or Physician Assistant; PA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing family medicine clinic on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).

This position has the potential to grow into additional hours/full-time employment as the practice grows. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients and wants to be part of a small, patient-focused practice.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions

• Perform routine physicals, wellness visits, and follow-up care

• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

• Provide patient education and preventive care

• Collaborate with the physician and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care

Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week, with scheduling to be discussed. There is potential for increased hours as patient volume and the practice grow.

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee NP or PA license

• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain, if applicable

• Current BLS certification

• Family medicine/primary care experience preferred

• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a small-practice environment
