Job Description: Our client is seeking an Experienced Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated emergency and critical care hospital serving the Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee and surrounding states. This is a full-time role designed for a veterinarian who is confident managing high-acuity emergency cases and passionate about delivering exceptional care during critical moments.

The hospital is supported by a highly skilled team of 13 experienced technicians and offers advanced diagnostic capabilities, including a full Cornerstone diagnostic suite, digital radiology integrated with practice management software, ultrasound, and comprehensive in-house laboratory services. The practice fosters a welcoming, collaborative culture where teamwork and clinical excellence are prioritized.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting emergency examinations and developing treatment plans
• Performing urgent surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Managing hospitalized and critical care patients
• Maintaining accurate and compliant medical records
• Collaborating with technicians and hospital leadership to uphold high clinical standards

Qualifications Needed:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active Tennessee veterinary license in good standing
• DEA registration or ability to obtain and maintain
• Minimum of one year experience in emergency veterinary medicine
• Strong diagnostic and surgical capabilities

Package:

• Compensation range between $120,000 and $150,000
