Clerical Employee

Position Overview

Accumulate and report data pertinent to ensuring fuel quality specifications are met and a quality product is delivered to the customer.

Location:

On-site in Erwin, TN.

Your Day to Day as a Clerical Employee:

1. Read and sign applicable inspection procedures prior to performing any inspection.

2. The training/qualification of a Clerk will be accomplished by job assignment and instruction during actual work performance by a Quality Engineer or a trained and qualified Quality Control Clerk.

3. Input data from fuel processing area into computer to generate historical data file.

4. Input analytical data into computer from analysis reports from fuel processing area.

5. Check analysis reports for use of correct procedure.

6. Perform batch and sublot yields.

7. Plot contractually required control charts.

8. Inspect product shipping containers and sample shipping containers for cleanliness. Enter container numbers into computer.

9. Prepare shipping labels for product shipping containers.

10. Input Quality Control blind sample analytical data in computer for control charts.

11. Tag material.

12. Maintain data concerning fuel process product in computer file.

13. File Quality Control copy of analysis report cards.

14. Assemble completed certifications in binding files.

15. Package fuel customer retainer samples and prepare packing list.

16. Assist in physical inventory.

17. Maintain perpetual process data in computer file concerning fuel processing specifics.

18. Perform double verification of semi and finished sublot data when contractually required.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Experience Requirements of Job (Beyond Education or equivalent requirements):

* The ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and/or written procedures; the ability to perform basic arithmetic, record keeping, data entry and/or personal computer skills, and algebraic calculations, ability to write in a clear and concise manner.

* Prior industrial clerical experience of one (1) year is desired.

Pay: $37.04

The starting rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) is $37.04 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
